SYZYGY artworks are on display in our Museum Shop vitrines. This reception is free and open to the public, and guests are encouraged to come at any point throughout the evening. The event will take place in the second floor lobby area, adjacent to the Museum Shop. Learn more about the event on the 21C website.

We’re excited to announce SYZYGY Art Box’s inaugural Triangle Portfolio. Eleven NC-based artists are contributing work to a limited edition of 40 portfolio boxes. (A syzygy - SIZ-ə-jee - is an alignment of planets and/or stars.)

It’s an instant art collection! Each 22” x 15” box has 11 artworks in it, one from each participating artist. Thirty boxes are for sale for $1,300 each.

This box was inspired by Randal Levenson, Geddes's late father, who participated in several photography portfolio box projects with his artist friends in the 1970s.
